Prophylactic Dose and Number of Sessions
– 5-10 sessions are recommended at 3-7 day intervals.
– Can be repeated once a month as a booster dose.
Common Indications
– Glutathione is involved in many biological processes including free radical neutralization, detoxification, cysteine transport and storage, cellular redox, ascorbic acid and vitamin E regeneration, and acting as a coenzyme.
– Glutathione is also involved in iron metabolism, including the sensing and regulation of iron levels, iron leakage, and synthesis of iron cofactors. It is thought to help maintain the integrity of the blood-brain barrier.
– Glutathione is important for supporting the functions of both the innate and adaptive immune systems, including T-lymphocyte proliferation, phagocytic activity of polymorphonuclear neutrophils, dendritic cell function, and antigen presentation by antigen-presenting cells. A community-based study of elderly patients found that increased glutathione levels were associated with higher levels of personal health, less disease, and lower cholesterol, body mass index, and blood pressure.
– In a small (N=21) clinical study in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), glutathione provided greater protection against oxidative stress induced by therapy than oral N-acetylcysteine.
Recommendations for administration:
– During administration, water should be consumed as much as the product volume.
(For example, when administering glutathione in 150 ml of SF, 0.15 liters of water should be consumed.)
– Flow / Application rate: Should be in the range of 10-15 min
