WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF MIGRAINE PAIN ?

Just as every migraine patient’s pain is unique, not every attack has to be the same. However, migraine pain is usually throbbing, can be single or sometimes bilateral, increases with movement and bending the head forward, can be disturbed by light, sound and smell, can be accompanied by nausea and/or vomiting, and can last a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 72 hours if painkillers are not taken.
